Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time
Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on offshore electrical systems (motors, generators, transformers, switchboards, VFDs, relays, lighting).
- Diagnose and repair faults in power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical systems and equipment following offshore standards.
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), and HSE protocols
. - Conduct risk assessments and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and reports.
- Support project teams in electrical design modifications and upgrades
. - Adhere to IEC, NEC, and Qatar Q-CERT offshore safety standards
.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
. - Minimum 5 years’ offshore experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Certifications:
HV/LV Electrical Safety, Comp Ex (preferred), IRATA awareness (if rope access involved). - Familiarity with offshore safety standards and PTW systems
