36 months, 5 days/week, 8–10 hours/day, 22 days/month, 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off

A leading LNG development project is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineering Lead to oversee all civil and structural engineering aspects for a major onshore/offshore development. The role provides technical leadership across FEED and EPC phases, ensuring project specifications, safety standards, and design integrity are met. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong leadership skills, LNG or Oil & Gas experience, and a proven track record in managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead civil and structural engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards
Oversee FEED and EPC contractor design deliverables, coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams
Resolve discipline‑related issues and provide timely technical guidance to ensure design objectives are achieved
Review and approve design recommendations and programs to maintain design integrity, efficiency, and safety
Provide civil/structural input to other engineering disciplines, construction, procurement, and quality functions
Conduct technical evaluations and risk assessments of complex engineering issues
Lead interface coordination with project stakeholders, including onshore/offshore teams, contractors, and vendors
Maintain project documentation, including design revisions, for contract administration
Monitor schedules, design progress, and change management to ensure quality and timely execution
Mentor and guide contractor and project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 8 years’ engineering experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas, and at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role
Experience with EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and service providers in LNG or Oil & Gas projects
Knowledge of onshore LNG facilities, offshore platforms/pipelines, tank foundation design, and brownfield execution
Experience in geotechnical, foundation, drainage, precast concrete, steel structures, building design, and dynamic equipment foundations
Berth design, seabed dredging, and blast design experience is advantageous
Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication in English, including conflict resolution, problem-solving, and influencing
Proficient in Microsoft Office and civil/structural engineering software
Deep knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and industry practices
Strategic and technically competent engineer able to guide large‑scale projects and contractor teams

Collaborative leader with strong interpersonal skills for multi‑stakeholder engagement
Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high‑pressure project environment with complex engineering challenges
