Design Manager

Job Description

• Responsible for End-to-End fixed network OSP design and planning based on the commercial and technical requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring design standards and processes are followed and co-ordinating with relevant authorities like Ashghal, Ooredoo etc.
• Manage the design and planning team to create construction, splicing and as-built drawings to be used by deployment teams.
• Manage deployment of equipment in Vodafone Central Offices.
• Manage Active equipment inventory in the Technology warehouse and forecasting the usage.

• Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in OSP network design and deployment projects.
• Good Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS office tools.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Fixed network design, FTTH, backhaul networks, DWDM etc.
• Good understanding and experience of GPON active equipment design and planning (XGSPON preferred).
• Required experience of Ashghal Standards for telecommunication construction and relevant processes.
