The Schedule Control Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, and progress control for large-scale multidisciplinary projects. The role ensures effective schedule development, monitoring, delay analysis, and resource optimization to achieve project milestones within defined timelines and budgets while aligning with project control standards and client requirements.
- Develop, review, and maintain baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools.
- Lead planning and scheduling activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective recovery plans.
- Perform critical path analysis, risk assessments, and schedule impact evaluations.
- Prepare and update resource-loaded schedules, progress curves, and KPI reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams for schedule alignment.
- Conduct weekly and monthly progress review meetings with stakeholders.
- Analyze change orders, delay events, and extension of time (EOT) claims.
- Generate detailed reports including S-curves, dashboards, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with project control procedures, contractual timelines, and client reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Project Management or related field).
- 12–18 years of experience in planning & scheduling for EPC, Oil & Gas, or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control systems.
- Proven experience in schedule control, delay analysis, and resource planning.
- Experience in multidiscipline projects (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation).
