Hiring:
Gas-Insulated Switchgear Specialist – GE Equipment
Location: Qatar
Experience: 3+ Years
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced GIS Specialist (Gas Insulated Switchgear) with strong exposure to GE equipment and transformer systems within high-voltage utility substations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of GIS equipment in transmission projects.
Key Requirements- Experience in HV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) &
GIL - Exposure to Power Transformers
- Knowledge of Digital Monitoring Systems
- Background in Electrical Utility & Substation Projects
- Understanding of Substation Design & Asset Management
- Installation, testing & commissioning of GIS equipment
- SF6 gas handling & leak testing
- Integration with transformers & protection systems
- Support FAT/SAT & energization activities
