Looking for 2nd Engineer on DP3 Accommodation / Construction barge in Qatar.
Rotation6 weeks on / 6 weeks off.
Requirements- Experience working on DP3 Accommodation / Construction vessel with MAN engines.
- Extensive experience as 2nd Engineer on DP vessels.
- Support Engineering department and directly report to Chief Engineer.
- Planned and routine maintenance of the mechanical installations onboard the ship.
- Bunkering the vessel when on duty.
- To carry out watch keeping duties.
- Perform area authority duties with regard to the Permit to Work / Isolation procedures.
- Supervise and train junior engineers onboard.
- Allocate maintenance tasks and monitor progress.
- Maintain and test safety equipment.
- Acts as a member of the emergency team as dictated by the Muster List.
- Promote Health and Safety onboard.
- Ensure risk assessments are carried out.
- Evaluate processes and activities for the presence of hazards.
