Position: SR. COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Primary Purpose of the Job
Focal point, responsible, and accountable for the day-to-day execution of both commissioning and decommissioning activities for assigned offshore Greenfield and Brownfield projects. This includes ensuring that both commissioning and decommissioning engineering, preparation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and decommissioning are executed in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, drawings, engineering design, and Qatar Energy standards & specifications.
Act as an interface between Projects, Operations Readiness (OV), and Contractor. Provide guidance to Project and Contractor to ensure that all commissioning and decommissioning activities are executed in accordance with approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality and HSE requirements. As part of decommissioning project team, personnel will oversee the safe and efficient disassembly, dismantling, or disposal of offshore and onshore installations, ensuring that all activities comply with environmental standards and regulatory requirements.
Required
Experience and Skills
A minimum of 15 years of experience in offhsore design, commissioning, start-up, and decommissioning activities for oil & gas facilities, with at least 8 years in a senior role leading team.Strong experience in both FEED and EPIC projects, with a proven ability to review and approve contractor deliverables for both commissioning and decommissioning phases.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.Expertise in developing and executing both commissioning and decommissioning strategies.Strong understanding of industry standards, quality control, and HSE regulations.Ability to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions during both commissioning and decommissioning stages.Excellent IT and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and project management tools.Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings.Relevant technical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to supervise multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.Educational Qualifications
B.Sc. in Engineering or a Diploma with extensive hands-on experience in both commissioning and decommissioning of oil and gas projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
