Project Interface Lead

Primary Purpose of the Job

Provide a professional service to Qatar Energy covering planning, control and management of all internal and external interface related matters between various project working groups within the infra & civil projects Department, Qatar Energy Departments and other project groups, all third‑party entities and organizations, including utility providers, companies and ministries.

Act as responsible Qatar Energy Representative for all internal and external communication matters to ensure that clear directives and responsibilities are identified and integrated into the activities and actions of the respective project technical and construction teams together with all involved consultants and contractors. Act as single point of responsibility for all aspects in his assigned projects’ interfaces. Effectively develop, manage, monitor and control diverse Interface Management Plan for a range of multi‑disciplinary Qatar Energy Division Projects executed in accordance with the project schedule and appropriate deliverables to achieve project objectives.

minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in the design, procurement, construction and installation of infrastructure & civil projects in oil & gas industry.

Good interpersonal skills, leadership, team building, effective communication and conflict resolution.

Good knowledge of industry engineering standards and QHSE awareness.

Familiarity with GCOC requirements for managing scope of works in legal framework.

Previous experience in relevant areas of project management, discipline engineering, supervision and construction. Well experienced in management and execution of all stages of a project.

Effective communication and team building skills including presentation, report writing and management of meetings.

B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University.
