QualificationsBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge and Experience- 8 years experience in Engineering roles, specially in Mechanical Equipment discipline, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, at least 3 years in offshore and including 1 years experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel.
- Primary specialization in Static Equipment design development with knowledge on equipment packages and rotating equipment.
- In-depth understanding of various equipment design Codes and Standards
- Previous Brownfield and Greenfield engineering and execution
- Knowledge in both Offshore and Onshore areas.
- Proven working experience with relevant international standards, in particular ASME Sec VIII Div.
1 & 2, API, UL, NFPA, etc. - Added advantage if possess past experience with equipment fabricator / manufacturer
- Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
