As a Marine Coordinator at ZMI
, your main responsibilities include ensuring continual compliance of the fleet operating in Qatar international ship management and marine standards, maintaining vessels, monitoring and developing competency assessments and performance of all officers and crew, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting vessels to meet corporate and client requirements and objectives. Additionally, you will assist the Fleet Managers in:

• Upholding the Company's HSE-Q policy and procedures.
• Managing vessel mobilization, charter execution, and project support.
• Overseeing client inspections and ensuring vessel certificate validity.
• Developing necessary documentation for vessel assignments.
• Supporting crew in navigation safety and offshore operations compliance.
• Motivating the crew to maintain a pollution-free environment.
• Creating work instructions, conducting risk assessments, and managing environmental issues.
• Ensuring compliance with classification society requirements and identifying crew training needs.
• Executing tasks according to the approved Permit to Work system and conducting regular inspections.
• Monitoring navigation performance, maintaining documentation, and overseeing planned maintenance systems.

• Certificate of Competency as Deck Officer or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in marine engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore marine operations, with at least 3 years in a coordination role.
• Must be available locally in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, including SOLAS and IMO regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to offshore locations as required.
• Valid offshore safety training certification such as BOSIET, HUET, or equivalent is a plus.
