Stantecs Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is looking for a highly experienced results oriented Design Manager PPP Projects to provide consulting advisory services to clients on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects in the State of Qatar.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Stantec Management Consulting Team in Qatar in providing consulting services to clients in the development and procurement of Tourism facilities PPP projects in the State of Qatar. The candidate for this position will be working from our office and this is a client‑facing position.

• Lead the design reviews of Tourism facilities such as beaches resorts and entertainment in the project development phase.
• As a consultant Design manager provide advice to the Client on different design options for the provision of tourism and resort facility options.
• Develop estimates for various design options considered by the Client to be tendered as a PPP Project in the State of Qatar
• Coordinate with other designers engineers architects and other project stakeholders in the development and review of different design options
• Provide advice to the Client on Value for Money (VFM) impact of different facility design and service options
• Prepare conceptual design reports and presentations and present to the Client internal and external project stakeholders.
• Study and research existing tourism and beachfront facilities accommodations in the State of Qatar including applicable local laws and regulations governing such sites.
• Prepare presentations technical briefs and present to external and internal stakeholders at all levels to accomplish the clients PPP program goals.

• Well‑developed written communication skills in the preparation of presentations technical reports correspondence and proposals are mandatory.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Working knowledge of tourism facilities hotels and associated beachfront services related to project management in the Middle East region is considered a strong asset.
• Exposure to and experience with Clients under client facing roles.

• Bachelors or masters degree in civil or structural engineering architecture or related disciplines
• A minimum of 10 years of postgraduate work experience is required as per the clients requirements
