Junior Reservoir Engineer; Qatari National

• Junior Reservoir Engineer for Al Shaheen
• Complex reservoirs with multiple challenges

The job is performed in a multi-cultural, multi-nationality environment, asking for a high level of maturity both technically and socially

• Participate in / Conduct calculations of reserves estimations and production profiles (including their uncertainties).
• Propose / Recommend actions to optimize withdrawal and maintenance of productivity levels.
• Participate in integrated studies to determine production mechanisms, development schemes and related production profiles.
• Contribute to the follow‑up reservoir engineering studies between specialist studies in Total Energies HQ and affiliate.
• Follow‑up of OPCOs operations (drilling, workovers, appraisals…) and monitoring. If necessary, propose corrective or additional actions.
• Participate to the definition of future development projects (infill wells, new WHP, compression…)
• Transverse work with G&G team and other entities (drilling/completion, architecture, exploitation…).
• Generate / review production profiles. Advises management on their robustness and uncertainties.
• Contributes with the Senior Reservoir Engineer for proposing actions to optimize the production, drilling sequence and profitability of the Al Shaheen asset.

Contributes with the Senior Reservoir Engineer for reserves / profiles for Budget, PRIME and PLT exercises of the Al Shaheen Assets

• Education: BSc. in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• Professional experience: Fresh Qatari graduate.
• Technical competencies: sound reservoir engineering skills, and use of reservoir softwares (PIE, OFM, PDMS, SAPHIR, PETEX suite, and possibly 3D simulation softwares).
• Behavioral competencies: Ability to work in multicultural & multidisciplinary teams and in transverse relationships with other entities.
• Other competencies: Fluency in English.
