Project Manager- High Voltage

Overview

To ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and delivering results from order entry to project commissioning that ensures repeatable customer business.

• Leading the successful execution of High Voltage Orders booked in Qatar.
• Monitoring and achieving important KPIs including Revenue, Cash Flow, Inventory, On-time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction.
• Ensuring all order execution related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments.
• Building strong relations with customers and managing customer satisfaction by on-time execution of projects.
• Conducting project reviews with factory management and factory Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment.
• Taking an active role in identifying risks, negotiating and resolving escalated issues, especially those raised by the customer.
• Ensuring that the portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures and that projects are closed as per contracts entered with customers.
• Coordinating any customer request related to execution or additional requests to projects which lead to additional sales.
• Leading the Digital and Service Interface in Qatar with the newly formed BU of Service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with a strong technical background.
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in the High Voltage industry with exposure to project management.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team and convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects with time, cost and quality.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP platform is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
• Capability to develop work practices and to take lessons learned and implement them into processes.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines while collaborating with cross‑functional and cross‑cultural teams.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
