Job Overview:

McDermott International is a renowned global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation within the oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor with expertise in working for our Fabrication Yard working on offshore modules. If you have a strong background in fabrication within the oil and gas sector, this is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and technical support to operations within the fabrication yard, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Oversee your discipline activities, including procedures, equipment selection, consumable choices, and quality control measures.
• Develop and implement programs and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with welding specifications and identify areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor your personnel, ensuring their proficiency in welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with client representatives and external stakeholders to address welding-related queries and provide technical guidance.

Essential Qualifications and

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Extensive experience fabrication, specifically in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on offshore modules.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes
• Proven track record of successful project execution with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex welding issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.
