This is a full‑time, on‑site Lead Operator role based in Doha, Qatar. The Lead Operator will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of oil and gas production facilities, ensuring safe and efficient processes. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, supervising operational activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams and providing guidance to junior operators to achieve optimal production performance while meeting production targets.
Qualifications- Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas production processes and equipment operations
- Proficiency in process troubleshooting and operational monitoring
- Leadership abilities with experience supervising teams and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Understanding and implementation of safety and environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry
- Prior experience in offshore or onshore oil field operations is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
