The Planning Engineer will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely completion of project activities during the handover and commissioning phase.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams
- Support resource planning and manpower tracking
- Ensure planning activities align with client and project requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
- 4–5 years of planning experience in Oil & Gas projects
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6
- Previous experience on Qatar-based projects preferred
- Good analytical and reporting skills
