Job Title: Civil / Structural Engineer

Job Purpose: The Civil / Structural Engineer is responsible for performing civil and structural engineering activities within the Projects Engineering Support division. The role ensures compliance with standardized processes and delivers high-quality engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and review conceptual studies, design basis documents, and civil/structural/infrastructure designs in accordance with Company specifications, international codes, and Qatar National Construction Standards.
• Provide technical support to company assets, ensuring timely structural solutions to maintain asset integrity and reliability for safe and continuous plant operations.
• Deliver civil/structural engineering support across all project phases (Pre‑FEED, FEED, Detailed Design, Execution) to ensure quality and flawless execution.
• Conduct complex analyses and provide expertise to ensure timely completion of engineering activities.
• Develop and review concept packages and detailed civil/structural drawings as per Company Project Management System (PMS).
• Perform and review advanced structural analysis and design using applicable codes and software tools (e.g., STAAD) for onshore projects.
• Provide technical input during RCFA, HAZOP, Risk Assessments, lifting and excavation certifications, inspection programs, constructability reviews, value engineering, 3D modeling, capital efficiency studies, and independent project reviews.
• Liaise with consultants and shareholders, represent Company in external technical forums, and deliver technical presentations.

• Operates in a highly technical environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributes to multidisciplinary tasks while providing specialized civil/structural expertise.

• Ensure adherence to Company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards.
• Support Qatarization initiatives by contributing to the development of Qatari employees.
• Maintain compliance with anti‑trust, competition laws, and Company firewall policies.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in an oil and gas environment.

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools and computer literacy.
• Ability to maintain technical competence as per the Company’s framework.
