Position is based in Qatar on a long term basis.

The Lead Piping Engineer performs complex assignments often requiring the development of new or improved products, processes or techniques. They assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering designs, products, and equipment, use advanced technical knowledge to produce deliverables, and complete any project tasks with minimal guidance and direction. The engineer may serve as the Lead Engineer or project Technical Authority, hold advanced specialization, direct highly qualified professionals on complex projects, provide technical reviews, and manage client relationships and project delivery with responsibility for cost, schedule, risk, and resource allocation.

• Assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering designs, products, and equipment.
• Uses advanced technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce deliverables.
• May serve as the Lead Engineer or project Technical Authority on projects.
• Directs highly qualified professionals engaged in complex engineering projects.
• Provides technical reviews for complex projects within the area of expertise.
