English Teacher

To deliver high-quality English education to secondary school students in line with the British curriculum. The role requires a dynamic, enthusiastic, and qualified educator committed to academic excellence and student development.

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the academic needs of secondary students.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning needs and abilities.

• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

• Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive learning environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and well-being.

• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment programs.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Literature, or Education (completed through face‑to‑face learning) –
  Mandatory

• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) –
  Mandatory

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) –
  Mandatory for UK applicants

• SACE (South African Council for Educators) –
  Mandatory for South African applicants

• Minimum 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in a British Curriculum school preferred.

• Experience working with international or multicultural student bodies is an advantage.

• Strong command of the English language (native or near‑native proficiency).

• Excellent classroom management and instructional skills.

• Familiarity with British Curriculum standards (KS3, KS4, and preferably KS5).

• Passion for student learning and academic progress.

• Competent in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
