JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

Design, plan, organise, and support Learning and Development operations and activities - including needs analyses, design and development, delivery, and post-delivery impact evaluation of learning solutions - to elevate behavioural and leadership competencies of employees across the company with a focus on high-potential and succession candidates. Initiate and lead the activation of a variety of talent assessment, coaching, organizational development, and talent acceleration programs to achieve superior business results.

Act as the main focal point to Line Managers and employees providing consulting advice and guidance related to Learning, Leadership and Talent Development matters.

4.1 KEY

ACCOUNTABILITIES Competencies
  • Develop tools to define technical and behavioural competency frameworks and map expectations for each level of job family based on subject matter expertise, external research, and benchmarks.
  • Develop, test, and pilot methods, techniques, and tools, appropriate within the operating context of the company, for the assessment of employees against defined behavioural and leadership competencies.
  • Participate in development-focused competency assessment processes of employees.
  • Create individual development plans that reflect competency gaps and areas for development, as well as the proposed solutions, aligned with the 70/20/10 model, to address said gaps and development areas.
Learning Needs Analysis
  • Develop test, and pilot methods, techniques, and tools, appropriate within the operating context of the company, for learning needs analyses purposes.
  • Plan and drive learning needs analyses processes at company, department, and individual levels.
  • Utilise outcomes of learning needs analyses to source and/or design and develop appropriate learning and leadership development solutions.
Design and Develop Learning Solutions
  • Apply sound instructional design principles and blended learning methods to design and develop learning solutions that address behavioural competency requirements for all levels of employees within the company.
  • Design and develop internal programmes the enhance leadership competencies and capabilities, using sound instructional design principles and blended learning methods.
  • Act as internal subject matter expert (SME), advisor, and lead designer of leadership development solutions.
Learning Delivery and Evaluation
  • Deliver and roll out training and development programs using various learning methods and delivery channels.
  • Ensure efficient and professional activation of Learning Solutions and Leadership Development Programmes.
  • Analyse post-programme feedback from participants and/or line managers of participants and/or vendors and facilitators. Remediate delivery gaps and enhance future deliveries based on feedback.
  • Conduct post-programme After-Action reviews for the purpose of continuous learning delivery improvement and enhancement.
Change Management
  • Work collaboratively with departments and leaders across the company, applying sound change management processes and practices, to ensure the successful embedding of new knowledge, skills, and behaviours in alignment with the company’s competency frameworks.
  • Develop and execute change management communications.
4.2 KEY

ACCOUNTABILITIES Project Management
  • Adopt and apply sound project management principles and practices in executing Assessment, Learning and Leadership Development programmes and projects, with due regard for time, cost, quality, and sustainability of outcomes.
  • Ensure all projects have a project plan, reviewed, updated, and reported upon on a regular basis.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
  • Provide critical input to support the development of Section’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements.
  • Participate in periodic reviews and updates to the Section’s policies, systems, processes, and procedures, contributing thought leadership to bring and keep these in line with local and international best practices.
