We are seeking a highly qualified Diagnostic Radiologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational activities within the Radiology Department, working under the direct supervision of the Head of Diagnostic Radiologist. The Diagnostic Radiologist will perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, provide expert diagnostic consultation to clinical teams, and ensure full compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Perform, interpret, and report a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging examinations including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and mammography.
• Provide diagnostic imaging consultation and clinical advice to referring physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and comprehensive radiology reports in accordance with facility policies and Qatar State Law.
• Read and report STAT and emergency imaging studies, including immediate communication of critical findings as per facility policy.
• Deliver a full scope of breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast biopsies, and breast MRI.
• Obtain and review patient histories to assess clinical indications, procedural appropriateness, and potential risk factors (e.g., contrast allergies).
• Participate in evening shifts, on-call rotations, and clinical schedules as assigned by department leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to standardize best practices and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, accreditation requirements, and radiation safety policies.
• Maintain professional and effective working relationships with physicians, technologists, nursing, and administrative staff.
• Participate in medical research, academic, or educational activities as directed.
• Actively engage in mandatory training and continuous professional development to maintain licensure and accreditation.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, including Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, patient confidentiality, and radiation safety regulations.
• Represent the organization in a professional, ethical, and positive manner at all times.

• Minimum 2 years post-certification/residency experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency Program
• Experience from North America, UK, or Europe (or equivalent accredited institutions)
• Hands-on experience with fully automated and computerized diagnostic imaging systems – Essential
• Experience in pediatric or women’s imaging – Preferred
• Previous work in a dedicated pediatric or women’s imaging facility – Preferred
