🎓 Required Qualifications (One of the Following):

- ⚽ Specialist Qualification in Sports & Exercise Medicine
- 🦴 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR)
- 🩺 ACGME/ACGME-I accredited core specialty + Sports Medicine CAQ/equivalent
Examples: Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine + 1-year Sports Medicine Fellowship
- ✅ Must hold a valid home-country license (unrestricted)
- 📄 Must be eligible for licensing as a Senior Consultant in Qatar
- 📆 12–15 years total experience, including 5+ years in clinical sports medicine
- 🧪 Highly skilled in:
- Diagnosis & management of acute and overuse sports injuries
- Pre-competition assessments and return-to-play evaluations
- Sports-related internal medicine conditions (respiratory, GI, infections, cardiac, etc.)
- Working with elite, professional & recreational athletes
- 🏃 Provide full-spectrum diagnosis and treatment for sports-related injuries and illnesses
- 🧠 Educate athletes & apply psychological strategies for performance and recovery
- 🔬 Order and interpret diagnostic imaging & labs
- 💊 Prescribe medication with doping control education
- 🥗 Guide nutritional and conditioning programs
- 🏥 Supervise full rehabilitation cycle with multidisciplinary teams
- 📝 Maintain medical records & provide regular athlete reports
- 🩺 Conduct pre-participation fitness assessments
- 🗣️ Communicate closely with coaches, trainers & stakeholders
- 🚑 Provide on-site medical coverage at sports events
- 📚 Support clinical education, mentor fellows & interns
- 🔍 Engage in research and develop new specializations
- 🛡️ Contribute to emergency protocols and clinical governance
- 📆 Represent the department in strategic discussions & service planning
