Senior Document Controller

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the construction industry to manage and control all project documentation effectively. The role requires ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution of documents in compliance with project and company standards. The ideal candidate must be locally available in Qatar and able to join immediately.

• Manage, control, and maintain all project documents in line with company and project requirements
• Establish and implement document control procedures for construction projects
• Ensure timely distribution, tracking, and retrieval of drawings, specifications, and correspondence
• Maintain updated document registers and ensure version control at all stages
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors for document submissions and approvals
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and client-specific documentation requirements
• Prepare periodic reports on document status and workflow
• Support project close-out documentation and handover processes

• Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry
• Experience handling large-scale construction projects (buildings/infrastructure)
• Strong knowledge of document control systems and procedures
• Proficient in MS Office and electronic document management systems (EDMS)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must be locally available in Qatar with valid transferable visa
• Immediate joining preferred
