Full‑time position reporting to the Head of Contract and Procurement
The Procurement Officer is responsible for coordinating procurement activities within the organization, ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This role includes managing supplier relationships, supporting contract negotiation, and monitoring procurement performance to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities Procurement process management- Support the full procurement cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) and obtaining quotes;
- Review and process purchasing requests from multiple departments;
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on procurement strategies and timelines;
- Coordinate supplier onboarding and creation in SAP;
- Monitor specific payment terms and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices;
- Provide administrative and technical support to teams, including document management and SAP navigation for internal teams.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high‑quality service delivery;
- Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluation and audits to ensure compliance with terms and expectations;
- Address and resolve supplier issues, disputes, and performance‑related concerns;
- Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with contractual terms;
- Proactively manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations;
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure alignment with organizational needs and legal standards.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance;
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements;
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.
- Assist in budget planning related to procurement activities;
- Prepare reports and analyze procurement and contract data, including spend analysis, savings, and contract compliance;
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve procurement efficiency and cost savings.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
