POLICIES & PROCEDURES SPECIALIST

Airswift is seeking a Policies & Procedures Specialist to work in Qatar with our client in Qatar.

Job Purpose
  • Develop, review, and maintain an organization's internal documentation, ensuring policies are accurate, compliant with regulations and reflect operational realities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to draft, update, and manage the lifecycle of manuals and procedures, improving operational efficiency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Documentation Development:
    Create, edit, and maintain comprehensive, clear, and consistent policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Compliance & Research:
    Ensure all documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and industry standards, and update them based on legislative changes.
  • Stakeholders

    Collaboration:

    Partner with functions heads and departments to align documentation with actual business operations.
  • Document Management:
    Manage the repository, version control, and distribution of policies, often using specialized systems.
  • Gap Analysis & Improvements:
    Review existing documentation to identify gaps, analyze effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
  • Communications & Training:
    Communicate policy changes to staff and provide training or guidance on new procedures.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications or a related field with experience in auditing, compliance or technical writing.
Experience & Skills
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of policies writing, Integrated Management Systems, Business Process Improvement, Project Management, Risk Management, Strategic Planning and Training preferably in big 5.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Knowledge in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Total Quality Management.
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards and IMS Auditing.
  • Other relevant Quality Standards as applicable.
