Our Doha office is looking to appoint consultants to support expansion in the government and public sector, a strategic priority for the firm. ASSOCIATE: Break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identify key aspects of a problem, direct junior consultants to those elements, plan and execute analyses, and craft suitable recommendations. Work with clients and project teams to move projects forward and manage small teams. Clients and colleagues seek Associates for unique insight in their subject area.

ENGAGEMENT MANAGERS are on-scene leaders who run projects day to day. They lead teams through problem-solving from initial hypothesis collection to convergence on a solution, ensuring recommendations are practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive. This role requires thought leadership at the strategic level and strong technical and operational execution, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.

Your Attributes And Experience

Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise. The ideal candidate will have most of the following:

• A degree from a top academic program
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization)
• Experience leading projects in governmental/public sector institutions, ideally in the GCC region
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams and clients, and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
• Outstanding communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives, internally and to clients
• Can-do attitude, initiative, curiosity, and desire to learn
• Arabic language a plus
• Willingness to travel
