Purpose of RoleThe Marketing / Admin Assistant plays a key supporting role in ensuring the smooth delivery of marketing and administrative operations at Durham School for Girls. The role supports the Head of Marketing and wider school teams by assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, basic marketing activities, and coordination across departments. The post holder contributes to promoting the school’s image and values, supports school initiatives and events, and helps maintain effective communication and organization across the school, in line with ISP principles and safeguarding standards.

Key Responsibilities- Provide general administrative support to the marketing and management teams.
- Assist the Marketing team in capturing photographs and short videos during school events, activities, and celebrations.
- Contribute to maintaining an updated photograph and media archive for the school.
- Assist with the preparation and setup of marketing materials and displays.
- Support the coordination of school events, Open Days, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Liaise with staff and students to collect content (photos, quotes, stories) for marketing.
- Provide administrative support to different departments as required.
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and the school کښې image at all times.
- Ensure all communication and conduct reflect Durham School for Girls’ values and ISP principles.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials such as flyers, presentations, and social media posts.
- Support the creation and scheduling of posts for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) in coordination with the Head of Marketing.
- Maintain and update school databases, contact lists, and filing systems.
- Help facilities department with data entries & inventories.
- Handle basic correspondence, phone calls, and document preparation as required outside of the marketing department.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative marketing, preferably within an educational environment.
- Experience supporting marketing activities, including events, social media მაგრამ promotional materials.
- Good verbal and 体育彩票 written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
