Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Financial Reporting

Accountant

Location: Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Accounting functions
. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands‑on experience with financial reporting, and familiarity with Qatar labor and tax regulations.

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain proper documentation and approvals

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables

• Perform customer account reconciliations

• Monitor credit limits and aging reports

Payroll:

• Prepare and process monthly payroll in compliance with Qatar Labor Law

• Manage employee deductions, allowances, end‑of‑service benefits, and leave settlements

• Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs and employee records

General Accounting:

• Maintain general ledger and perform month‑end and year‑end closing

• Prepare financial statements and management reports

• Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audits

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience
  , preferably in Qatar or GCC

• Strong hands‑on experience in AP, AR, Payroll, and General Accounting

• Knowledge of Qatar labor laws and financial regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

• Advanced skills in MS Excel

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Experience in GCC‑based companies

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Good communication and coordination skills
