Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Are you a compassionate CNA or CMA who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting and wants to make a meaningful impact in mental health care? What You'll Do
  • Room patients and prepare them for scheduled appointments
  • Obtain, monitor, and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.)
  • Accurately document patient care and observations in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Help clients obtain prescription refills, manage medication samples, and respond to medication authorization requests promptly
  • Observe, document, and promptly report changes in patient condition or behavior
  • Support providers and nursing staff in a high-volume outpatient clinic
  • Help maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment
What We're Looking For
  • Current Kansas CNA or CMA certification (required)
  • Experience with phlebotomy or willingness to be trained
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic preferred
  • Comfort with EHR systems and timely clinical documentation
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Compassion, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Kansas CNA or CMA certification (required)
  • Experience with phlebotomy or willingness to be trained
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic preferred
  • Comfort with EHR systems and timely clinical documentation
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Compassion, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must have current valid drivers license

In addition, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. Must have a valid Driver's License and be insurable under the Agency's policy in order to operate a Center vehicle. The employee will interact with many different persons in varying stages of recovery from their mental illness.
