Job Title

Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA) or Certified Medical Aide (CMA)

Full Time

• Obtains vital signs and reports significant changes or concerns to the medical provider.
• Assists clerical with any matters related to a client who needs assistance. Will report any problems that are or are not resolved with the medical provider.
• Communication bridge between people served and medical providers.
• Provides education on illness, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes, and symptom management as directed.
• Completes Patient Assistance Forms
• Assist RN in managing refill requests
  -gather information on last appt, next appt, and return to clinic directives.
• If the RN is gone, review lab results and notify medical staff of any significant findings.
• Performs all duties as assigned by RN and all medical provider staff.
• Scan in lab results, medical miscellaneous, and any additional information that should be a part of the permanent record in a timely manner.
• Notes are completed and signed within 48 hrs. of service.
• Completes Patient Assistance paperwork as directed.
• Ensure client confidentiality and dignity in documentation.
• Performs all special projects and all other work-related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Kansas certification as a Certified Medical Aide with no restrictions or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Current CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills
• Have completed or will complete any required training within six months of employment.
• Must have a current and valid Kansas driver's license.

Salary Minimum: 18.44

Salary Maximum: 23.08
