Position Details- Reports To:
Maintenance Manager - Job Type: Full‑time, onsite
- Shifts Available: first shift
- Pay Rate: $30–$38 per hour, depending on experience
- FLSA Status:
Hourly, Non‑Exempt
- Lead the maintenance team with a strong focus on electrical and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drivers, VFDs, relays, contractors, and power supplies with speed and precision.
- Interpret and modify electrical schematics to American and European standards.
- Adjust machine parameters from HMI screens; build basic PLC/HMI code tied to SCADA.
- Commission new automation equipment from startup through acceptance.
- Maintain robust safety systems—E‑stops, interlocks, and safety PLCs.
- Assist with robotic programming and integration initiatives.
- Develop and present high‑quality manufacturing packaging prototypes for client review.
- Advance Design Center continuous improvement projects.
- Balance multiple priorities with strong organization and documentation.
- Apply AutoCAD or similar for layout evaluations and minor changes.
- PLC logic literacy and methodical fault diagnosis.
- Electrical schematic fluency (US/EU) and troubleshooting.
- Industrial electrical/electronic systems expertise.
- HMI configuration and parameter tuning.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic fundamentals.
- Basic PLC/HMI programming with SCADA integration.
- 3‑phase high‑voltage systems understanding.
- Safety systems knowledge and application.
- Exposure to robotics and basic programming.
- Prototype development and client‑ready presentations.
- AutoCAD or comparable CAD proficiency.
- Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST)
- Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or Automation Engineering
- Team leadership and coaching capability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and safety‑minded.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; cold temperatures; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
