As a Management and Program Analyst
, you will implement, coordinate, and analyze a variety of workforce management programs, prepare and provide briefings and presentations, and develop and evaluate guidance.

  This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the HQFDNS Mission Support Division and is assigned based on the needs of the agency.
• The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
• Serves as a Management and Program Analyst with responsibility for Workforce Management handling all staffing issues including implementing personnel actions via a hiring application for a large organization.
• Monitors, analyzes and reviews comprehensive procedures related to personnel and acts as a liaison for assigned offices.
• Reviews and interprets new or existing guidance, directives, instructions, regulations, and legislation for potential impact on major program objectives, operating policies, work operations and progress, and applies them to various workforce matters.
• Identifies organizational knowledge gaps and provides training to managers and employees on a variety of staffing and workforce management topics.
• Advises employees and managers on workforce management requirements, methods, and procedures. Recommends solutions in resolving workforce management issues which impact the organization.
