Crown Farms part of the hugely successful Cranswick Plc.
We are seeking a Poultry apprentice Farmer to support our Farm Manager in all aspects of the day‑to‑day management in the Rickinghall area.
Level 2 Poultry Worker ApprenticeshipShift pattern: 5 days out of 7, working 40 hours.
Main duties include:- Collecting eggs
- Prioritising bird welfare
- Recording farm data
- Maintaining safe working practices & a high level of site and personal biosecurity standards
- Experience in the poultry sector (ideally)
- Team player
- Numerate and literate to record farm data
- Reliable
- Driving licence/own transport (our farms are based in rural locations)
- Salary: £20,800
- Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
