Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – PM Shift

We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established FMCG food manufacturing site in the Diss area on a permanent PM shift. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who's confident fault-finding, keeping production running, and taking ownership of engineering issues during the late shift.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site machinery
• Fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC-controlled equipment
• Supporting improvements, upgrades, and installation work
• Identifying repeat faults and putting proper fixes in place
• Working safely and following food safety and hygiene standards
• Logging work and maintenance activity on the site CMMS
• Supporting contractors when required

• Strong hands-on experience as a maintenance or multi-skilled engineer
• Background in FMCG, food, or a similarly fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Confident electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with PLCs, control systems, pneumatics, and heavy machinery
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership on shift
• Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled qualifications preferred, but experience is key
