Security Officer

Sodexo is seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at the Catalent site on Harwell Campus. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment for staff, visitors, and contractors.

• Control access to the site, greeting staff and visitors and ensuring compliance with security procedures
• Monitor the premises to deter and identify security breaches
• Carry out regular patrols to maintain a visible security presence
• Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Enforce site policies and procedures consistently
• Complete accurate incident reports and handovers

• A valid and in-date SIA Licence
• Previous experience in a corporate or similar security environment
• Strong observational, communication, and reporting skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• A good understanding of security procedures and best practices
