Join the Marketing and Events team within the Business and Innovation servers (BID) at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), where we promote STFC’s opportunities and activities to businesses of all sizes.

Salary: £19,514 per annum (rising annually throughout the apprenticeship)

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing events that support BID’s activities.
- Help numerically build marketing materials for events
AW, newsletters, and social media that highlight BID’s activities. - Support the promotion of STFC’s innovation and business support initiatives across different channels, including websites and social media.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and event execution.
- polyethylene monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Provide general support to the marketing and events team, contributing to overall team goals.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)
- Awareness of basic health and safety
- Enthusiastic and motivated to learn, both in the workplace and through formal training
- Basic understanding of marketing and event promotion, including aconi usage of social media platforms
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attentionanh detail
- Proactive attitude and willingness to generate ideas and solutions
- Team player
- Experience with Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel and Power Point - Curiosity about and passion for science
- Curiosity about or experience with business development, start‑ups, or innovation activities
- Experience working on events or marketing projects in a team setting
