Monarch Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to support a high performing Primary Academy in the Didcot (OX11) area). If you have recent experience working with children and a solid understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), this could be the perfect role for you.

• Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Work closely with class teachers and the SEND team to support pupils with a variety of needs
• Offer 1:1 or small group intervention for pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, learning delays, or SEMH challenges)
• Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, engaging learning environment
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Contribute to the academy's wider values of respect, resilience, ambition and inclusion

• Recent experience working with children
• Experience or strong understanding of supporting children with SEND
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Confidence building relationships with pupils and supporting their individual needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to complete all required safeguarding and compliance checks
