AboutThe Role
We now have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant on an initial one-year fixed term basis to work within our Finance department to provide accounts receivable and management accounts support, including support during the year end and external reporting processes.
Responsibilities- Posting of various transactional, accruals and prepayment journals in anticipation of month end.
- Providing Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Owning purchase order report maintenance ensuring closure of old orders
- Collection, posting and reconciliation of company credit card information
- Managing Accounts Receivable function from sales ordering to debt collection
- Aiding at year end for the statutory accounts and all government reporting.
You will ideally be studying towards an AAT qualification or equivalent, with experience of Accounts Receivable and all aspects of credit control.
You will demonstrate an ability to reconcile various accounts and investigate / resolve differences.
You will also display excellent attention to detail on report presentations, and good numeracy, data inputting and Excel spreadsheet skills.
You will demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
As standard this role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 3 days working onsite per week.
