Electrical-Focused Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Manpower Engineering is hiring an electrical-focused Industrial Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturer in Dickson, TN. One opening on a 12-hour night shift (7p–7a, 2-2-3 schedule). Contract role with possible consideration for perm hire.

Pay $35-$40/hour.

• Repair and maintain all equipment and machinery, conduct inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and adjustments of plant systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery.
• Promptly respond to all safety and emergency calls and perform all tasks requested by supervisor, superintendent, or other management personnel.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance experience ranging from two to five years.
• Experience in both power distribution and hard-wire control techniques.
• Completion of a two-year technical college diploma or certificate desired.

• Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
• Strong electrical skills with ability to test, troubleshoot, and wire motors, VFDs, PLCs, troubleshoot shorts.
• Knowledge of electrical machinery control, including the ability to interpret logic. Ability to program PLCs is a plus.
• Experience with Fanuc robots (i.e., be able to look at i/o and understand).
• Welding experience helpful but not required.
• Automotive industry experience helpful.
