Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care through medication administration, health assessments, documentation, and collaboration with providers and clinical staff. This role focuses on stability, monitoring, and supportive care, rather than high‑acuity.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and document patient vital signs and overall health status
- Discuss and document patient health concerns in a supportive, trauma‑informed manner
- Administer medications as ordered (oral, IM, SQ, SL), including medication supervision as applicable
- Obtain and follow medical provider orders for all medication administration
- Monitor for and document adverse medication reactions; report concerns promptly หว
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide basic wound fever care and health education as needed
- Review, complete, and sign off on patient charts
- Collaborate closely with medical providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with Freeman Recovery Center policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards
- Complete all required training and continuing education

This role does not typically involve:
- ICU‑level care or emergency response nursing
- High patient turnover or hospital trauma settings
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Tennessee
- Minimum of one (1)> year of nursing experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid/AED certification required
- Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
