• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
• Current, unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Background screening as required by the state or contract.
• Drug screening as required by the contract.
• Ability to read medical equipment and documents; pushing carts and medical equipment may be part of the job.
• Can lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down stairs; position patients; walk long distances; stand for prolonged periods.
• CPR certification as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

• Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
• Provides general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assesses healthcare needs of patients through routine assessments and develops individualized nursing and health care plans accordingly.
• Performs health screenings of patients or clients.
• Responds to emergency healthcare needs of patients.
• Collects and records data specific to patient health status.
• Administers medications/treatments as prescribed.
• Responsibilities vary depending on department (e.g., ER/Clinic, infection control, quality assurance, nurse anesthetist).
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice.
• Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner respecting cultural diversity and age appropriateness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Activities may vary by assignment and may change at any time.
