Water Treatment Technician – M‑F / 9:45 pm to 6:15 am (provides 15 min overlap with daytime Tech to ensure good communication between shifts)

• Perform routine water quality testing for parameters such as pH and turbidity to ensure compliance with plant standards.
• Monitor and adjust chemical amounts to ensure proper chemical use.
• Use safe handling procedures to move and replace empty chemical containers using a forklift.
• Maintain and conduct minor repairs on water treatment equipment and distribution infrastructure to ensure a continuous supply of water.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain records of water quality data, equipment maintenance schedules, and any corrective actions taken to address system deficiencies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with shift leaders to ensure water quality and volume meets their needs.
• Communicate daily with management on water treatment conditions.
• Respond to and troubleshoot water quality deficiencies, help develop plans and Standard Operating Procedures to prevent deficiencies in the future.
• Climb ladders to access top of tanks to inspect water conditions and chemical delivery systems.
• Monitor and use computer interfaces to operate water systems.

Industrial Wastewater experience a plus.
