Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years total RN experience; at least 1 year in critical care
Active RN license (no pending licenses) or active Compact license

Certifications:

ACLS, PALS, BLS

Must Haves:
ICU experience
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Procedures Performed on Unit:
Central line placements
Arterial line placements
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Intubations

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 6
Patient Ratios:
Mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
Staffing: 1 Nurse Tech
Equipment:
Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG
Documentation System:
Meditech

Scheduling: 36 hours per week, every other weekend
Floating:
Floats to ICU overflow unit

Maintain positive patient experience standards

Dress Code:
Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
