Summary

Hiring a full‑time position working in our infant‑toddler classroom (30 hrs per week) teaching position. A versatile individual who understands and applies teaching styles that embrace DAP (developmentally appropriate practice).

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants and/or toddler‑aged children (High School diploma or equivalent).
• Leadership qualities with good organization and a positive personality.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Pay range:  8.25– 13.00 per hour, depending on experience/education.

• Paid onboarding training up to 10 hours.
• Eligible for TN Wages program (for licensed childcare programs) for additional compensation.

• Provide daily curriculum and care for a classroom of infants and toddlers, either solo or with a co‑teacher.
• Adhere to state (TN) and DHS regulations regarding childcare and regulated programs.
• Communicate regularly with families, children, and staff.
• Complete required training and maintain records as mandated by the State of TN.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a positive classroom environment.
• After initial 90 days, receive paid holidays; after one year, receive 40 hours of vacation time annually.

• CPR/First Aid training or certification.

• 3‑day work week with weekends off.
