Accounting Supervisor

Overview

I am seeking an Accounting Manager with strong HR experience to step into a key succession role with a well-established, privately held company. This position will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and employee support while working closely with company leadership.

• Manage monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Oversee payroll and coordinate benefits administration
• Serve as point of contact for external tax and accounting partners
• Support HR-related needs, employee questions, and internal processes
• Maintain accurate records and ensure operational compliance
• Transition into full ownership of the role following a planned training overlap

• Strong hands-on accounting experience (GL, close, payroll oversight)
• Comfort supporting HR and employee-facing responsibilities
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Stable work history with consistent tenure preferred
• Experience working with benefit brokers and tax firms
• Must be commutable to Dickson, TN

• Planned succession with 6-8 months of training and overlap
