• General Summary & Scope:
  The Beauty Advisor (BA) is responsible for providing an exceptional experience for all Ulta Beauty guests by engaging each guest to determine their individual needs, conducting cashier tasks, keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining overall store cleanliness and completing tasks as assigned.

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest entering the store, personalizing service, answering questions, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary products.
• Handling customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges and online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events that deliver guest experience while driving sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and services.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests.
• Share benefits of the guest loyalty program.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow business.
• Regularly participate in ongoing training.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedure, dress code, loss prevention, and store standards.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma (preferred).
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.
