Multi-Unit Team Leader

Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block. This role provides leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and focuses on accelerating seasonal tax business through people management and a customer-centric approach.

• Lead and develop associates across three tax offices; deliver outstanding client experiences and achieve office growth objectives.
• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
• Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance issues with the Associate Relations Center as needed.
• Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching; recognize outstanding contributions.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office staff.
• Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for all offices.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, contingent on successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.*

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and leading toward a growth culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with the equivalent combination of experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment (if preparing tax returns)*.
