Bilingual Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or related fields
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Medical Assistant Certificate
• Must speak Spanish and English fluently
• Experience is a plus
• Availability to work the 11:00 am to 6:00 pm shift (one-hour break included)
• Effective multitasking skills

Additional Responsibilities:

• Room patients, take vitals, and inform clinicians of patient arrivals
• Gather health history information from patients
• Prepare treatment rooms for doctors
• Guide patients to labs and deliver test results to the pediatrician
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records
• Assist in scheduling and updating patient appointments
• Perform tests and administer immunizations as instructed
• Facilitate patient check-in and check-out
• Supervise cleaning staff and ensure hygiene standards
• Inspect clinic equipment for damage
• Document treatments using the computer
• Manage patients’ insurance information and claims

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15-$17 per hour
