General Labor, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
A Roustabout Foreman will be responsible for the completion of daily field and shop tasks, working safely and proficiently. This position is diverse and may vary on a daily basis. Various duties include working with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment for facility construction and maintenance, wellhead tie-ins, cleaning of tanks and vessels, fence building and another other miscellaneous work that may arise.
This position requires the ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Lead onsite safety and roustabout work for a crew
- Perform facility maintenance, repair and construction
- Complete tasks using proper hand and power tools
- Operate backhoes, skid-steers, telehandlers, man lifts and other equipment
- Assist in installing and repairing piping, valves, pumps and motors
- Drive crew truck and is responsible for safely transporting tools and equipment per company policy
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Perform general cleanup duties on locations and/or facilities
- Comply with all safety policies, codes and regulations to protect the safety and health of all employees.
- Willingness to cross-train and work among other divisions when needed
- Other job duties, as assigned by management
- Proficient use of hand and power tools
- Report to work as scheduled
- Knowledge and ability to install and repair valves, pumps and motors
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record and meet the insurance requirements (if driving)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain the cleanliness of all company equipment and vehicles
- Must be able to develop and maintain strong work relations with team
- Must have effective communication skills
- Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be willing to work as needed, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to build trust and promote a positive safety culture
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs and handle physically demanding work
- Must be adaptable to changing field conditions and operational demands
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening, participate in the random testing pool and remain drug & alcohol free throughout employment
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check and background check

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an outside environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme cold, heat, wind, rain, etc. This job may also require physical exertion, exposure to dust, noise and potential hazards associated within a manufacturing/construction site.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours, after hours and weekend work as job duties demand.
Licenses & Certifications- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating forklift/skid steer preferred.
