This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repair, and service of fleet trucks and heavy equipment.

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Monitor gauges, dials, or indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
• Basic computer skills.

• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and reliable after repairs and maintenance.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Service company vehicles and equipment as per procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Lubricate and clean parts.
• Report vehicle and machine damage, safety concerns, and malfunctions.
• Accurately record all hours worked in the company system.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Build good working relationships with drivers, operators, and technicians.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions.
• Inspect equipment conditions and monitor gauges to assess performance.

• Basic math skills.
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license.
